Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state has directed all district heads to celebrate traditional Hawan Daushe in their respective emirates. The government gave the directive in a statement signed by the chief press secretary to the governor, Abba Anwar, in Kano on Sunday, August 11. “Against some calls circulating in the social media that all district heads were directed to attend Hawan Daushe at Kano emir’s palace, the Kano state government has directed all Hakimai to attend Hawan Daushe at their respective emirates,” Anwar said.
