RevolutionNow: Sowore’s party vows to contend court’s order for his detention

A Nigerian lawyer has said that he would challenge the court order directing the State Security Services (SSS) to detain the publisher of Sahara Reporters’, Omoyele Sowore for 45 days.

The national legal adviser of the African Action Congress, Inibehe Effiong, said the party will ensure that the court order against its 2019 presidential candidate is vacated.

Premium Times reports that Effiong said the AAC would file an application before the court to seek an order to vacate the court’s decision on its 2019 presidential candidate. He also the legal team is saddened by the court’s decision on Sowore’s detention by the SSS over the his championing the controversial #RevolutionNow protest.
