You must pay for your security to live in US – Trump tells Prince Harry, Meghan

President Donald Trump of the United States of America, U.S.A, has told Prince Harry and his wife Meghan that they will pay for their security if they live in the U.S.

Trump insists the U.S government will not pay to secure the senior British royals.

Harry, who is sixth in line to the British throne, married an American actress Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle in May 2018.

They later found scrutiny by the British media, harassing and intolerable, and in January 2020, announced they planned to quit as senior royals, seek financial independence and move to Canada.

Harry and Meghan had since lived in Canada’s Vancouver Island, until Last month when the country’s authorities said they would stop paying for the couple’s security once they ceased to be working royals.

Mary-Liz Power, Spokeswoman for Canada’s Safety Ministry, said last month that ‘the assistance will cease in the coming weeks, in keeping with their change in status.

There are unconfirmed reports that Harry and Meghan and their 10-month-old son Archie recently flew to Los Angeles, U.S A, where Meghan was born and raised.

And responding to reports that the couple has moved to California, Trump tweeted on Sunday, “I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. However, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!”
