Coronavirus: Reps to shutdown plenary for 2weeks

The House of Representatives has resolved to shut down legislative activities for two weeks over Coronavirus scare.

The green chamber reached the resolution following the adoption of a motion by Unyime Idem. Entitled “emergency response to the dreaded coronavirus.”

the Minority Leader, Ndudi Elumelu moved the amendment to adjourn plenary for two weeks to allow the management of the National Assembly to equip the complex with measures to prevent spread to the National Assembly.
